Robert's Rules of Safety

Rule #1:
Don't give out personal information such as your address, telephone number, password, your parents' work address or    telephone number, or the name and location of your school without your parents' permission!
Rule #2:
Tell your parents right away if you come across any information that makes you feel uncomfortable!
Rule #3:
Don't agree to get together with someone you "meet" online without first checking with your parents. If your parents agree to the meeting, make sure that it's in a public place and bring your mother or father along.
Rule #4:
Never send a person your picture or anything else without first checking with your parents!
Rule #5:
Don't respond to messages that are mean or make you feel uncomfortable, and tell your parents right away so that they can contact the online service. It isn't your fault if you get a message like that!
Rule #6:
Talk with your parents so that you can set up rules for going online. Decide the time of day that you can be online, the length of time you can be online, and appropriate areas for you to visit. Don't access other areas or break these rules without your parents permission
